01-18-13 Peace

Just like we learn anything, in order to step back into His rest and peace, we need to exercise our trust in Him to catch us. He will always catch us.

Jude - 1:24 "To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen"

01-17-13 Peace

Isaiah 30:15 "This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: 'In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.' "

Stepping back into His quietness (under the shadow of His wing) and His trust (as our firm Protector) is our strength today. We are not of the ones who 'would have none of it', but we practice stepping into His grace and mercy and love and peace, kindness and forgiveness and power and life. It is not just a want to rest but a need that saves us - saves our souls (minds, wills, emotions). Live in His Light today :)
